Techies Kenya Limited was founded with a singular vision to build and maintain the critical infrastructure that powers connectivity, commerce and development across Kenya and East Africa.

From our base in Nairobi, we have grown into a trusted multidisciplinary engineering company specialising in telecommunications infrastructure, fiber optic deployment, ICT solutions, renewable energy systems and engineering support services.

Our team of over 50 certified engineers and technicians delivers end-to-end project implementation from initial planning and design through to full deployment, commissioning, maintenance and long-term support.

2014

Company Founded

Techies Kenya Limited was established in Nairobi with a core focus on telecommunications infrastructure and site support services.

2017 – 2018

First Major Telecom Contracts

Secured first major tower installation and RF deployment contracts, growing the team to 15+ field engineers and technicians.

2019

Fiber Optic Division Launched

Expanded service offering to include underground and aerial fiber optic deployment responding to Kenya's growing connectivity demand.

2020

ISO & NCA Certification Achieved

Achieved key regulatory certifications including NCA and strengthened HSE frameworks in line with international standards.

2021 – 2022

Renewable Energy & ICT Expansion

Launched renewable energy and ICT solution divisions broadening scope to cover solar PV systems, structured cabling and systems integration.

2023

Safaricom OHS Vetting

Successfully completed Safaricom OHS contractor vetting a major milestone demonstrating our safety leadership in the telecom sector.

2024 – Present

Scaling Across East Africa
